Mercer Releases Quality of Living Survey 2017

 

Mercer’s r annual Quality of Living Survey 2017 pointed out that infrastructure is the most important factor in determining the quality of living for expats in cities abroad. The report also highlights that despite political and financial instability, Europe still holds the most cities with the highest quality of living and remains an attractive destination for business operations, expansions, and expat assignments.

 

The report shows the top 10 cities with the highest quality of living namely:

  1. Vienna, Austria
  2. Zurich, Switzerland
  3. Auckland, New Zealand
  4. Munich, Germany
  5. Vancouver, Canada
  6. Dusseldorf, Germany
  7. Frankfurt, Germany
  8. Geneva, Switzerland
  9. Copenhagen, Denmark
  10. Basel, Switzerland tied with Sydney, Australia

 

Despite not being on the top 10 for the overall quality of living, Singapore ranked highest for city infrastructure.
