Ms Olivia Delgado has over14 years of HR and Global Mobility experience. She is currently the Senior Manager for BMC Software, an IT Services company in the US. I am responsible for strategic planning and execution of Mobility Programs; Immigration, Relocation and Expat administration. I also handle partnerships with various teams to identify business needs, provide consultation and solutions to meet business needs.
Business is growing rapidly. Immigration requirements/criteria are not up to date with employment needs.
The demand for talent across the globe requires critical planning, meeting business demands while mitigating deficiencies.
I may be the outlier; in my experience, the trend has always been flexibility. Corporate policies are helpful in defining the behaviour of the company; however, the steps taken require flexibility to capitalise on potential opportunities, making the complex appear seamless to the business and employees.
Internal along with external tools are utilised to monitor, report and track.
