APEC Business Travel Card for Australian Citizens to Roll Out in July

The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Travel Card (ABTC) allows pre-cleared business travelers short-term entry to any APEC participating member economies. This scheme has been available since 1997 and has proven to be quite a valuable tool for any companies with regular business or intent to establish business and investments in the APAC region.

The ABTC will now be available to Australian Citizens starting 1^st of July 2017. ABTC holders can enter and stay in APEC member economies for 60 to 90 days depending on the specific economy. The ABTC will also enable its holders to use fast-track entry and exit lanes on major airports of participating economies.
